Wellness is finding balance in all areas of your life. Feeling internally well, outwardly loving and giving and well attuned in a physically healthy body. During the Christmas season wellness can be stressful but it is possible to be enthusiastic and embrace it all without it becoming a source of distress and exhaustion.
Know what matters to you and if you find something stressful, let it go…
Think of others and be grateful for what you have
It’s ok to say no and cut back. Don’t spend what you don’t have and spend quality time with people outdoors
Create an easier menu & delegate
Let go of unrealistic expectations
Watch the silly Christmas movies, sing the Christmas songs, laughter is always a mood booster
Go for a walk to see the Christmas lights, stroll the beach, hike a mountain. Choose for you
Teach children about the gift of giving, donate their old or new toys
Take a proper break this Christmas. Practicing mindfulness and breathwork can help you unwind
Keep active. Exercise keeps the brain and vital organs healthy, can boost your self esteem and help you to concentrate, sleep and feel better.
